Fall is here, and that means apple season and Red Clay Cider Day is just around the corner! We’re stepping it up this year and bringing you even more fun: in addition to our apple pressing demonstration, live music, cider releases, and the pumpkin patch for the kiddos, we’re inviting North Carolina cideries to participate in the first Red Clay Cider Day Fall Festival with ten cideries on site to sample!
But wait, there’s more! Flying Hatchet will be on site for all your maniacal hatchet throwing needs, we’ll have a Porron on hand for only the bravest of cider fans, and now that Fūd on the Mūv has a permanent kitchen inside, their amazing deliciousness will be served up all day!
Starting at noon with your pre purchased drink tickets, you will be able to sample some of the best ciders from local cideries around! We’re super stoked to have our fellow cider makers share this day with us. Our cidery lineup will include
As always you will have the option to purchase fresh pressed juice by the gallon following our cider pressing demonstrations so you can try your hand at fermenting your own cider at home!
The cider sampling festival will be in our front parking lot from noon-4pm. Advance ticket sales include 6 drink tickets and a souvenir tasting glass. Tickets are limited and are only $20 per person. Each drink ticket is good for a 4oz pour. Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase.
Parking will be a challenge on this day, so we encourage you to ride the light rail and/or park at Scaleybark Station (we’re only a 6 minute walk north!). We have also partnered with Lyft: take a Lyft to our location and receive 50% your ride home--just ask a bartender if you don’t see a promo card! Free parking across the street on Pelton, in the OutBox Self Storage lot, and behind Urban MvMnt next door.
